I am delighted to welcome you to Essa Academy. Essa Academy is an integral part of our locality and together we will ensure Essa is a school we are all proud of.

Essa Academy have wholeheartedly fostered the NET (Northern Education Trust) vision of being ‘outcomes focused child centred’, where “we constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.”

Ensuring our students leave with exceptional outcomes and excellent life skills are at the heart of everything we do. Our staff are highly skilled and committed to ensuring the learning is challenging, enjoyable and provides the right curriculum to create a foundation of knowledge and skills for life.
